Although it is still two years away from their elections, some 2012 Senate candidates are raising money like it’s an election year. Four Democrats are mentioned in a recent Congressional Quarterly article that discusses candidate fundraising. McCaskill, Feinstein, Kohl and Byrd all are holding sits that are likely Republican targets. Byrd and Kohl may retire which would set the stage for very competitive races.
