Government Shutdown –

The Democrats have rejected a Republican budget proposal that would remove $33 billion in spending.  Democrats have also refused to accept another Republican proposal that would include $12 billion in spending cuts but would extend the talks for another week.  There are still four days left to negotiate before a government shutdown.
