Wisconsin Republican Senate Primary –

Wisconsin is the focus of the Republican party for the second time in three months.  Republican Governor Scott Walker won the recall election in early June and next week Wisconsin Republicans will vote for their Senate candidate.  The Wisconsin Republican Senate primary will be held on Tuesday, August 14th.  Recent polling data from Marquette University and Public Policy Polling indicate that the race is too close to call.  Only a few percentage points separate Thompson, Hovde, and Neumann.  Polling data for the general election have Tommy Thompson as the strongest Republican candidate against Democrat Tammy Baldwin.
