Fiscal Cliffhanger –

Republicans and Democrats are expected to return on New Year’s Eve to continue negotiations.  Republican Senator Lindsey Graham was upbeat about the chances of reaching an agreement before January 1st.  The Senate agreement may include tax increases for couples earning more than $250,000 a year.  The House of Representatives would have to vote on any agreement reached by the Senate.  Democrats have the majority in the U.S. Senate and Republicans have control in the House.
