A recent Rasmussen poll indicates that tax cuts will play a larger role in the mid-term elections. The mid-July survey showed that 68% of respondents consider tax issues to be very important. That number is 10 points higher than a May survey on the issue. Tax cuts are likely to gain more media attention in the coming weeks with Congress starting to tackle the expiration of tax cuts.
