Campaign Finance Bill –

Campaign Finance legislation failed to reach the 60 votes required to stop a filibuster.  The vote was 57-41 and it will likely end campaign finance legislation for this congress.  Democrats argue that the bill would provide more transparency and Republicans say that it benefits unions.
