Currently, the Real Clear Politics Electoral College map has Obama leading Romney 221 to 191. Neither Obama nor Romney received a large increase in the polls after the Democratic or Republican conventions. Real Clear Politics lists 10 states that they consider to be toss-ups. A few of the states listed as toss-ups are Florida (29), Ohio (18), Michigan (16), North Carolina (15), Virginia (13), and Wisconsin (10). A candidate needs 270 Electoral votes to win the election.
